Weather broke today and it promises to be a bright, sunny day.  We’re staying at Ken and Melanie’s lake cabin on East Lost Lake (I don’t think it’s really lost because we found it pretty easily).  Had to fill up the RV with water which we forgot to do before leaving Fargo.  Thankfully, Ken had a long hose which made it easy.  Don’t really need to fill up the fresh water tank, but it’s nice to have the water handy on the road.  We try to keep it fairly low because it’s just that more weight to carry.  Ken had an appointment to get his pontoon boat into the lake at a public access point on the other side of the lake.  He came across the lake and I drove home – both arriving almost at the same time.  Here's a photo of East Lost Lake from their front porch.

We all had errands so the morning passed pretty quickly.  Harvested some rhubarb and asparagus from Melanie’s garden which will make nice additions to our menu on the road.  Stopped at a local garage to have the light connection for the RV/Jeep checked out.  Hasn’t worked right since we had the incident with the cord pulling out of the Jeep.

In the afternoon, Melanie and Vi did some shopping while Ken and I played golf at Tromper Pond Golf Course.  Hardly seems like a fair distribution of responsibility, but hey, it is what it is.  Weather continued to be nice – temperature in the 80’s with a slight breeze, which made it great for playing golf.  Nice course, with all the accoutrements of a resort – restaurant, hotel, RV park, golf course, etc.  There was hardly anyone on the course – guess it’s still too early in the season, so it really played nicely.  Afterwards, we stopped at Zorbaz, a pizza joint on Otter Lake and picked up some pizza’s for dinner.  Neat restaurant on the lake front with docks out front for people to park their pontoon boats and come in for dinner.  The pizza was also excellent.  When we came home, Celsey had arrived to spend some time at the lake.  The pizza got packed on the pontoon boat (along with some other liquid items) and we went down to the west end of the lake to watch the sunset.

Ken and Melanie’s cabin faces east, so they get to see the sunrise from their porch.  However, to see the sunset, we needed to travel to the other end of the lake.  Beautiful sunset with the moon rising behind us.

The full moon will be in a couple of days, but it was really bright against an almost cloudless sky.  Great fun being out on the lake and just enjoying the evening.

We plan on leaving Tuesday morning to start our trek to Rochester to see Tim and Kathy.  It’s been nice to have the opportunity to see everyone here after a travel-less year in 2020.
